SEC Adopts Standards of Professional Conduct for Attorneys ( February 2003 )
The Securities and Exchange Commission has adopted final rules as directed by Section 307 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 regulating the standards of professional conduct for attorneys appearing and practicing before the Commission. In some respects, the adopted rules reflect a significant departure from the rules as proposed. -
