As the name suggests, this guidance document is intended to supplement the OIG's 1998 Compliance Program Guidance to: (a) address recent changes in hospital payment systems, regulations, and industry practices; (b) focus on particular risk areas; and (c) provide guidance for evaluating existing hospital compliance programs. -
